who i am.Architect_Explorer_Keeper of "Useless" Information. I am a 2010 graduate of Kansas State University with my Master of Architecture from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design. I was called to be an architect at an early age through my constant curiosity and creative imagination when designing and modeling countless forts, lego cities and buildings.
Currently, I am with Collins | Webb Architecture in Lee’s Summit, MO as their Director of Architecture and as a Project Manager/Architect. I lead efforts in Business development, proposal writing, workplans, staff mentoring & recruitment. I'm responsible for the delivery of projects for Commercial Developments in the Kansas City Metro. Previous to this I practiced architecture with HOK in Kansas City, MO. With over 12 years experience working on a diverse selection of projects for sports, education, medical and mixed-use clients, I bring technical skills with Building Information Modeling, construction documentation and construction phase coordination to each project I work on. My ability to translate design intent into constructible details while keeping the high-level goals of the client at the forefront have proven invaluable on each of my projects. I grew up and worked in Mid-Missouri spending seven years in Manhattan, Kansas for school and then work after graduation. I've had study tours to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Oslo, Norway during school in addition, As well, I spent a semester abroad in Prague, Czech Republic with associated travels throughout Europe. |
