who i am.
Designer/Intern-Architect. I am a 2010 graduate of Kansas State University with my Master of Architecture from the College of Architecture, Planning and Design. I was drawn to architecture at an early age through my love of creating and building. In my free time I love to play futbol, watch movies, listen to all genres of music, and go biking.
where i am.
I have once again returned to Columbia, Missouri after having grown up in Mid-Missouri for most of my life. I spent the last seven years in Manhattan, Kansas with extended study tours to such far locales as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Oslo, Norway. As well, I spent a semester abroad in Prague, Czech Republic with associated travels throughout Europe. Having lived in cities ranging in population from forty thousand to two million and everywhere in between, I have been exposed to and observed the goings on and lifestyles of different cities and cultures. What I've learned is that a city's environment and its architecture define the nature of how people create their niches. From this I believe the designed environment helps to give people a sense of place, a unique but interconnected identity, somewhere to live, work, play, and dream.
